Analytics Dashboard
The Analytics Dashboard provides aggregated insights across all completed interviews in your project. It gives you a comprehensive view of respondent activity, sentiment trends, and the most frequently mentioned themes—helping you spot patterns, measure satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.
Accessing the Dashboard#
Access the analytics dashboard from:
- Sidebar navigation: Click "Analytics" under your project name
- Project-level view: Navigate to any project and select the Analytics tab
Advanced analytics — including sentiment analysis and keyword tracking — are included on all plans, including during the 14-day trial.
Three Main Sections#
1. Activity Metrics#
The Activity section shows you how respondents are engaging with your interview:
- Opened: Number of people who loaded the interview page (includes those who didn't start)
- Started: Number of respondents who sent their first message
- Completed: Number of interviews that finished with a full summary generated
- Completion Rate: Percentage of started interviews that were completed (completed ÷ started)
- Country Distribution: Interactive world map showing geographic distribution of respondents based on IP geolocation
The completion rate is calculated as completed ÷ started (not opened), since "opened" includes bounces and people who never engaged with the interview.
2. Sentiment Analysis#
The Sentiment section helps you understand how respondents feel about your product or topic:
- Distribution Chart: Visual breakdown of positive, negative, neutral, and mixed sentiment across all responses in the selected period
- Trend Over Time: Time-series chart showing how sentiment changes day-by-day or week-by-week
- Period Comparison: Automatically compares the current period vs. the previous period of equal length to highlight trends
Sentiment is analyzed per-answer and per-response, giving you both granular and aggregated insights.
3. Keyword Analysis#
The Keyword Analysis section surfaces the most frequently mentioned themes from your interviews:
- Positive Keywords: Topics associated with positive sentiment (e.g., "onboarding", "ease of use", "support")
- Negative Keywords: Pain points and areas of frustration (e.g., "slow loading", "confusing UI", "pricing")
- Occurrence Counts: Shows how many times each keyword or theme was mentioned across all responses
These keywords are automatically extracted by the AI and categorized by sentiment, helping you identify what's working and what needs attention.
Date Filtering#
Use the date range selector at the top of the dashboard to focus on specific time periods:
- Custom Ranges: Select any start and end date to analyze a specific period
- Quick Presets: Choose from Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, or All Time
- Comparison Mode: The dashboard automatically compares your selected period to the previous period of the same length
For example, if you select January 1-31, the dashboard will compare those metrics to December 1-31.
What You Can Learn#
The Analytics Dashboard helps you answer questions like:
- Are more respondents completing interviews this month compared to last month?
- Is sentiment trending upward or downward over time?
- What themes are respondents mentioning most frequently?
- Which countries or regions are my most engaged respondents from?
- Are there emerging issues or pain points I should address?
Check the dashboard weekly to stay on top of sentiment trends and catch issues early. Set up Slack notifications to get alerted when negative sentiment spikes.
