Slack Integration
The Slack integration posts a message to a Slack channel whenever a respondent completes a conversation, so your team sees new feedback without opening the dashboard.
What You'll Receive#
When a conversation is completed, Diaform sends a message to your connected Slack channel containing:
- The respondent's name or email when available
- The overall sentiment of the response
- Key insights from the conversation summary
- A link to view the full response
Connecting Slack#
Navigate to your project's edit page and select the Integrations tab.
Click the Connect Slack button.
You'll be redirected to Slack's OAuth consent screen. Select the workspace and channel where notifications should be sent.
Click Authorize to grant Diaform permission to post messages.
You'll be redirected back to Diaform with the connection confirmed. Your Slack integration is now active.
Slack connections are configured per-project. This means different projects can post notifications to different channels, giving you full control over where each project's alerts appear.
Notification Settings#
Completed conversation notifications are on by default. To turn them off without disconnecting Slack, open the Slack settings in your project's Integrations tab and toggle Completed conversation notifications.
Disconnecting Slack#
To remove the Slack integration:
- Go to the Integrations tab in your project
- Click Disconnect Slack
The connection will be removed immediately, and notifications will stop being sent to that channel.
